Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is the fastest-selling PlayStation game ever, and sold over 2.5 million copies

We all knew that Marvel's Spider-Man 2 would be heroic when it came to sales, but the question was exactly how impressive it would be. According to Insomniac and Sony, it's the fastest-selling PlayStation title in history, beating out the previous record-holder and handily destroying both of the previous two Spidey titles.
